BIOTEK seeks to hire a **MECHANICAL ENGINEER**, tasked with performing efficient management activities and seeking effective solutions to ensure equipment operability and availability. **FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** **•** Identify and define equipment maintenance requirements; **•** Support preparation of work tasks; **•** Manage goods and materials; **•** Prepare documentation supporting equipment interventions, including optimization of time and costs; **•** Plan scheduled shutdowns for facility and equipment maintenance; **•** Analyze budget proposals for facility and equipment interventions; **•** Support workshop activities in defining intervention strategies. **FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:** * CORE ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Higher education degree in Engineering (Mechanical); * COMPLEMENTARY KNOWLEDGE: **\- Technical:** Materials technology, technical drawing reading and interpretation, continuous improvement tools, English language;\- Behavioral: Leadership and team management, communication skills;\- Instrumental: User-level computer literacy, Maintenance Management Software; * Professional experience (minimum 2\-3 years), preferably in companies within the sector or other industrial enterprises. **OPPORTUNITY:** **•** Join a sector-leading company that offers professional development and career growth through participation in dynamic and ambitious projects. **•** Experience a healthy and informal work environment characterized by strong team spirit.
