We are looking for a **Database Administrator (DBA)** to join a team responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise database platforms, in a hybrid work arrangement, based in **Lisbon**. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring database service availability, performance, security, and continuity, actively participating in incident resolution, change management, and implementation of operational best practices. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure daily operation of database platforms; * Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, and integrity; * Proactively identify operational risks and improvement opportunities; * Ensure integration with monitoring, logging, and observability tools; * Analyze and resolve database-related incidents; * Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis; * Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure, and Security teams to resolve complex issues; * Ensure adherence to defined SLAs; * Execute technical changes in accordance with Change Management processes; * Implement patches, upgrades, configurations, and authorized changes; * Participate in preparation and execution of maintenance windows; * Ensure backup execution and validation; * Participate in recovery and disaster recovery testing; * Ensure high availability and resilience mechanisms; * Implement and maintain access controls and privilege segregation; * Ensure application of security patches; * Support internal and external audits; * Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements; * Conduct performance analysis and tuning; * Monitor data growth and installed capacity; * Provide optimization recommendations and capacity planning. **Requirements:** * Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration; * Experience in enterprise production environments; * Experience in monitoring and operating database platforms; * Knowledge of troubleshooting and incident resolution; * Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery; * Knowledge of performance tuning and capacity planning; * Experience with Change Management; * Knowledge of database security and access control; * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. **We Value** * Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent technologies; * Experience with monitoring and observability tools; * Experience in high-availability environments; * Knowledge of ITIL and service operations; * Experience in regulated and highly critical environments. **Work Arrangement:** * Hybrid (2 days per week in the office). **We Offer:** * Unlimited access to Udemy; * 22 vacation days plus 3.5 grace days per year; * Health insurance.
