Join us for a 4-week autumn movement journey inspired by the wisdom of trees đ**every Monday** in November. Each class explores a different part of the tree â Roots, Trunk, Branches and Leaves â through dance, embodiment and creative reflection. Along with movement, we will also *draw the tree as it grows*, adding one part each week, so **please bring a (big) sheet of paper and colourful pens for every session.** ### **Week 1 â ROOTS: Grounding & Belonging** We begin at the base â the ârootsâ of the body. Through breath, weight, gravity and slow mindful movement we explore how it feels to be supported from below. We connect to stability, safety, and the sense of belonging to the earth. This class helps the nervous system settle, creating the foundation for emotional and physical ease. *** ### **Week 2 â TRUNK: Strength & Inner Support** The focus shifts upward to the trunk â the central axis of the body. We explore posture, alignment, inner lift, and self-support. This is where we meet our personal strength and boundaries. Movements become more vertical, centred, and intentional. The practice invites resilience and a deeper relationship to our core. ### **Week 3 â BRANCHES: Expansion & Self-Expression** From grounding and strength, we begin to reach outward like branches stretching into the sky. This class explores opening, reaching, connecting and expressing. The arms become pathways for creativity, new opportunities, self-care and wellbeing. The movement becomes more fluid, curious, and social â exploring the meeting point between inner and outer worlds. *** ### **Week 4 â LEAVES: Letting Go, Renewal & Celebration** Finally, we arrive in the dance of the leaves â lightness, playfulness and release. Just as leaves let go in their own time, this class invites us to soften, shake off what we no longer need, and move with joy and freedom. This is a celebration of breathing out, shedding, completing and beginning again â a ritual of renewal through movement. Everything from the comfort of your home and with cosy, welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere during the class. No experience required, all you need is an open heart, comfy clothes, water, sheet of paper (better the bigger you can to draw a tree) and some colourful pens / pencils, paint... I will provide the Zoom Link closer to the date. Can't wait to dance with you ! đ
