Function integrated within the New Construction Directorate, in the Technical and Design area, with the following main responsibilities:
Development of general arrangements based on the shipowner's requirements and in accordance with statutory regulations and classification society rules;
Modeling and calculation of intact and damage stability using dedicated software;
Monitoring of light ship weight, supervision of vessel flotation in dry docks, and preparation of stability trials;
Structural design and sizing of ships according to rule-based criteria;
Development of emergency escape and life-saving plans in compliance with international life-saving regulations;
Consultation of classification society rules, interpretation of technical issues, and proposal of technical solutions acceptable to the classification society;
Involvement in the approval process of ongoing projects with the flag state authority;
Participation in sea trials, supervising system testing and vessel maneuverability assessments prior to final delivery.
##### **What We Are Looking For**
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering
Proficiency in calculation and drafting software
Proficiency in Office tools
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Minimum one year of professional experience (preferred)
Organizational skills, dynamism, initiative, pro\-activity, sense of responsibility, and resilience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
