**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **Textile Engineer** to oversee and manage all aspects of fabric manufacturing processes in textile mills, including knitting, weaving, dyeing, and finishing. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in both knits and woven fabrics, with hands\-on experience managing end\-to\-end textile production, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with overseas mills. **Roles and Responsibilities :** * Evaluate and oversee all aspects of fabric production at the mill — **knitting, weaving, dyeing, washing, finishing, and printing.** * Conduct inline quality assurance checks at mills and ensure outsourced mill work meets client quality standards. * Skilled in the **4\-point system**, **Shrinkage control, order and stain management** and checking **fit\-related Issues** to ensure fabric meets performance and aesthetic standards. * Review the full fabric creation process from machine calibration and maintenance to sampling, processing, and final inspection. * Develop and implement mill\-wide quality control systems and standard operating procedures. * Analyze and resolve production issues, customer complaints, and quality deviations through corrective action plans. * Manage color consistency across lab dips, bulk production, and shade bands. * Identify process improvement opportunities and lead training programs for quality teams. * Collaborate with mill leadership and clients to ensure all fabrics meet performance, stretch, and aesthetic requirements. * Monitor the entire production workflow to detect inefficiencies or risks in raw materials, chemicals, and processes. **Qualification and Requirements:** * Minimum **7 years of experience in textile mills**, handling both knits and woven fabrics \- knit fabric experience is an added advantage. * Candidates with experience in fabric sourcing from mills are preferred. * Degree in Textile Engineering or Diploma in Textile Technology, Diploma in Textile Design. * Good English communication (written and spoken). * Strong computer skills for reporting and documentation. * Willingness to travel locally and internationally, valid passport is mandatory. * Notice period: Immediate to 1 month.
