Vintage Computer Windows XP Retro Gaming Radeon SSD DOSBox Tested

This listing is for a Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini-Tower "Thin" PC. Equipped with a third-generation Intel Core i3-3220 CPU, this platform is among the last to fully support Windows XP. Upgraded with a low-profile AMD Radeon 7570 graphics card and a fast SSD, this machine delivers top-tier performance, running all Windows XP-era games at high resolutions and high FPS. With this PC, you can play most games from the Windows XP and Windows 9x eras. Using DOSBox, MS-DOS games are also available, with full compatibility for Sound Blaster and General MIDI. The AMD Radeon 7570’s performance is excellent for Windows XP-era gaming. It matches a low-profile NVIDIA GT 730 with GDDR5 memory and outperforms the same GT 730 with GDDR3 memory. These graphics cards were released well after the peak of Windows XP and deliver significantly better performance than what was available during its peak popularity. After restoration and extensive testing, this machine is now in very good condition. All components have been inspected and cleaned. The PC was tested for over 20 hours across several days. Therefore, returns are not accepted. - Note that this PC lacks an HDMI port. Use the DVI port on the AMD Radeon 7570 or the DisplayPort (but see below). This DVI port outputs an analog signal, so via an adapter it can connect to a VGA monitor. DVI-to-HDMI or DVI-to-VGA adapters are widely available and relatively inexpensive. - The DisplayPort on the AMD Radeon 7570 graphics card has not been tested, as I do not own a monitor (or cable) with DisplayPort, nor do I have any adapter to convert DisplayPort output to a more standard interface. - It is strongly recommended not to connect this PC to the Internet, as Windows XP support ended long ago. Additionally, the PC does not come with antivirus or antimalware software installed. Please research security precautions thoroughly before connecting this machine online. - The Administrator account is the only account available on the system and has no password. You should set a password if you require privacy—especially if you plan to connect the PC to the Internet. In that case, you should likely also create a standard user account with reduced privileges.
