




**LEICA PORTUGAL** is hiring an Electronic Industrial Engineer to join the Technology \& Innovation department at its factory in **V.N. Famalicão**. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** Reporting directly to the industrial engineering manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper definition of electronic assembly processes in the product and creating and monitoring action plans through the following activities: · Monitor suppliers using the “*Simultaneous Engineering*” methodology; · Procure sample/prototype components; · Analyze change notifications regarding part/product drawings and review production processes accordingly; · Ensure the electronic performance of the product; · Design and procure tools; · Create work instructions for assembly; · Create/Manage electronic schematics (zuken); · Create/modify routing procedures; · Support electronic MJK tests (software and hardware); · Develop/Monitor/Manage product certification activities (ESD/EMC); · Document and provide information for the SAP technical list; · Generate reports on prototype and pre-series results; · Perform production cost estimation/calculation (HK0\); · Guarantee necessary technical information for production; · Manage product improvement implementation during development stages; · Manage the Windchill technical list; · Prepare and consolidate processed assembly during development to achieve defined KPY; · Carry out prototype assembly; · Promote and monitor technological evolution of equipment; · Perform documentation in Windchill; · Solve problems (technical support); · Verify compliance with procedures related to your role. **PERSONAL PROFILE** · Degree in Electronic Engineering (mandatory); · Previous experience in similar roles between 2 to 3 years (mandatory); · Solid knowledge of electronics fundamentals; · Ability to analyze electronic circuits; · Knowledge of *circuit transient/stable responses analysis*; *Filters and amplifiers design*; *Design low power and/or battery powered circuits*; *Simulation tools* (e.g. LTspice); · Good knowledge of ICT, AOI; · Good knowledge of component selection and procurement; · Strong command of English (spoken and written); · Good communication, organizational and documentation skills; · Ability to work both in a team and independently; · Proactive attitude and problem-solving orientation; Employment type: Full-time Benefits: * Meal card/Ticket * Free parking * Life insurance * Health insurance
