This Engineer \| Hardware \& Firmware Tester (m/f/d) opportunity will be integrated into the Electronics and Connectivity team. **Job Description** We are looking for a professional to work as a Hardware \& Firmware Tester with experience in embedded electronic systems. The ideal candidate should be able to design, assemble, and use measurement setups to test systems based on microcontrollers (Zephyr) and systems with Embedded Linux and custom hardware. **Responsibilities:** * Design and assemble test and measurement setups for embedded systems; * Operate measurement and diagnostic equipment in a laboratory environment; * Test systems with microcontrollers in Zephyr RTOS-based systems and Embedded Linux systems; * Develop and implement testing methodologies integrated into the product development process; * Create proprietary (software and hardware) tools to support testing; * Document testing procedures, setups, and results clearly and systematically; * Collaborate with hardware and firmware development teams in identifying and resolving issues. **Qualifications** * Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields. * Proven experience with electronic laboratory equipment. * Knowledge of embedded systems with microcontrollers and Embedded Linux. * Practical experience with the Zephyr real-time operating system. * Ability to develop testing tools, both in software and hardware. * Understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, etc. * Solid knowledge of electronics and ability to read electrical schematics and layouts. * Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for test automation. * Strong technical documentation and effective communication skills. * Experience in test automation and integration with CI/CD (preferred qualification). * Familiarity with requirements management and traceability tools (preferred qualification). * Participation in product certification processes (e.g., CE, ISO, etc.) (preferred qualification). * Critical thinking. * Attention to detail. * Problem-solving skills. **Additional Information** * Office by the sea, just steps away from Parque da Cidade.
