We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join KWAN on a high\-impact project within a global financial environment. You’ll be working with complex systems used in fixed\-income trading. This is not a basic dev role, it’s about understanding how systems, data, and business actually connect. What you’ll be doing * Manage and monitor Control\-M batch jobs (scheduling, dependencies, failure handling); * Analyze application/server logs (JBoss, Tomcat) for incident and performance troubleshooting; * Develop Shell scripts for automation and operational tasks; * Execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting; * Support deployments using Jenkins, XL Release, and XL Deploy; * Handle L2/L3 incident resolution and perform root cause analysis; * Monitor systems using Grafana and RabbitMQ, responding to alerts; * Maintain technical documentation (Confluence, ServiceNow); * Collaborate with distributed teams (Lisbon, Porto, Paris); * Use Git for version control and code reviews; * Implement small Java (8\+) enhancements and bug fixes; * Apply CI/CD practices in delivery and support processes. What we’re looking for * 5\+ years in application/production support or Java\-based technical roles; * Experience with Java (8\+), Shell scripting and SQL (Oracle or similar); * Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD), Control\-M (scheduling), Git (version control), Grafana (monitoring), RabbitMQ (messaging), Postman (API testing), Jira, Confluence; * English Level (C1\) Do you meet most of the position requirements?
