Summary: As a Python Developer, you will develop Python Backend applications for ML tools, work with data modules, review code, and contribute to a growing team using Scrum methodology. In all markets, we value relationships, knowledge sharing and responsible action In practice, your day\-to\-day As a Python Developer you will use Python to work on our ML tools which answer needs at a local and corporate level (Paris): You will develop Python Backend applications using object oriented programing Run and debug those engines with real data Work with data python modules such as pandas or polars Review code of your peers and suggest improvements Follow Scrum methodology to deliver as a team to meet stakeholder expectations Depending on the projects, work with different frameworks such fastAPI For senior level entries: help the team to grow by sharing your knowledge, and coding best practices The Mission is important, but so is the Team and the workplace! Welcome to BNP Paribas Personal Finance, where you will integrate the Analytics Hub, an innovative and creative team based in Lisbon and Porto. In both locations we offer a hybrid work model. You will report hierarchically to the Team Leader. The marketing side of the Hub has 3 mid\-sized teams (Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Python developers), working together on complex challenges. The team is new and everyone is growing together. You'll be surrounded by more than 30 colleagues working in the same field as you, sharing ideas and experiences. We are prepared to welcome you with an initial onboarding plan, with on the job training, online learning and networking opportunities. Are you the one we are looking for? Do you have a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field? Do you demonstrate strong programming and scripting skills (Python)? Do you have some knowledge on how to work with Data (pandas, polars)? Do you possess good skills in communication, collaboration, adaptability and initiative spirit, high focus on delivery, with a detail\-oriented mindset? Are you fluent in oral and written English? Do you have at least 3 years of experience? Do you have knowledge of development pipelines (git, CI/CD) Optionally, do you know agile tools, databases (relational and graph – Vertica, Oracle, SQL server), experience with ETL, API?
