THE ROLE We're creating a loved brand in Europe, and this is where your story begins! As a Front\-end developer at Barkyn, you will be crucial in shaping our customer experience by delivering impactful, high\-quality product features, linked to customer increase, retention and satisfaction. You’ll be in charge of maintaining our frontend applications, as well as contribute to the execution of our tech roadmap while ensuring high standards for performance and design Specifically, we expect you to: * Build web\-scale applications delivering features for our marketplace * Develop software solutions for a rapidly growing e\-commerce company * Stay up to speed with the latest frontend technologies, software architecture principles and design patterns * Focus on performance, resilience and security * Have an understanding of the full development lifecycle, with an emphasis on software quality and testing processes * Work in an Agile environment, focusing on continuous improvement and delivery quality Mandatory requirements: * Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript (ES6\+ preferred), and Typescript * Hands\-on experienced with libraries or frameworks such as Vue, React, Redux, or NextJS * Experienced with CSS\-in\-JS libraries * Experienced with Scrum or Kanban is a plus * An excellent team worker with strong communication skills * Skilled in problem\-solving, with a proactive attitude * Fluent in English (spoken and written) Brownie points: * Experience in Shopify Liquid templates * Experience in a startup or B2C company * Be a dog owner
