We are looking for a professional to join the finance team at SC Fitness (Maia), with responsibilities in financial reporting, accounts consolidation, and taxation. This role is essential to ensure the quality of accounting information and compliance with legal and tax obligations, requiring autonomy, analytical thinking, and technical expertise within a demanding business environment. **Main Responsibilities**: **Reporting \& Consolidation** * Manage general accounting and ensure maintenance and consistency of the statutory chart of accounts; * Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring data consistency and integrity; * Supervise inventory controls and related accounting reconciliations; * Supervise the loading, control, and updating of contracts under IFRS 16; * Prepare accruals and deferrals and lead the monthly and annual closing processes; * Consolidate group company accounts and ensure elimination of intercompany transactions; * Coordinate the preparation of Annual Reports \& Accounts and respond to official entity inquiries (e.g., INE); * Support external and internal audits by ensuring timely availability of required documentation. **Taxation** * Periodically calculate taxes due; * Ensure compliance with tax filing and payment obligations; * Monitor tax audit procedures and coordinate the preparation of tax opinions; * Perform tax provisions and prepare the tax component of economic and cash flow budgets. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, or similar * Over 5 years of relevant experience with proven responsibilities * ERP SAP experience (preferred) * Hyperion Financial Management \- HFM ERP experience (preferred) * Experience in accounting and reporting (mandatory) * Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel * Good knowledge of English **We are looking for** * Initiative and proactivity * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills * Strong analytical ability and attention to detail * Organizational sense, assertiveness, and planning capability
