Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for managing the entire product flow—from production and importation through to distribution and in-store allocation—ensuring product availability and stock optimization. Key Highlights: 1. Sole owner of the product flow, from purchase to shelf 2. Strategic management of forecasting and multi-market distribution 3. Focus on stock optimization and supplier performance **About the Role** Ensuring end-to-end product flow—from purchase order to shelf: monitoring production and importation, managing rolling forecasts, warehouse receipt, and distribution across the store network. This is a single-point-of-accountability role—the same person who ensures goods arrive also decides how they are distributed, eliminating handovers where stock-related issues typically hide. **Flow and Forecasting (Upstream)** * Manage rolling forecasts by supplier and SKU (core and seasonal), incorporating actual sales, stock coverage, and network expansion. * Translate forecasts into delivery schedules and phased purchase orders, in close coordination with Buying. * Track order confirmation, production progress, and merchandise readiness with each supplier. * Monitor agreed lead times, identify deviations early, and propose corrective actions (e.g., acceleration, split deliveries, SKU substitution). * Coordinate shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and Logistics: cargo consolidation, transport mode selection, and cost-per-unit optimization. * Prepare and validate import documentation (packing lists, invoices, certificates, customs documents); verify Incoterms and freight invoicing against agreements. * Ensure correct warehouse receipt and follow up on quantity discrepancies, damage claims, or non-conformities. **Distribution and Allocation (Downstream)** * Execute initial allocation per store and market (FR, PT, ES, CH, AT, UK), applying store typology (A–D) and defined purchase depth. * Maintain and review the store typology and cluster grid based on actual performance, space, and customer profile. * Define launch quantities, minimum presence per planogram, and reference coverage. * Manage allocation of seasonal ranges and campaigns, respecting commercial calendars and in-store launch dates. * Allocate for new openings, remodels, and concessions: opening packs, launch ranges, and phased deliveries. * Manage continuous replenishment of core ranges based on sales, coverage, and stockouts. * Identify stockouts and overstocks per store and execute corrective actions: transfers, consolidations, reinforcements, or flow throttling. * Support clearance and discontinuation activities: stock concentration, range withdrawal, and residual stock cleanup. **Reporting and Performance** * Maintain flow reporting: delivery pipeline, value in transit, delays, and risks. * Maintain stock and sales reporting per store, market, and category: sell-through, coverage, stockout rate, dead stock. * Measure and report supplier performance: on-time delivery, complete delivery rate, documentation quality. * Produce allocation effectiveness analyses (what was shipped vs. what sold) and propose adjustments to distribution rules. * Ensure data integrity for stores, typologies, and system parameters. * Flag relevant performance deviations per item or family to Buying. **Candidate Profile** * Degree in Management, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field. * 2–4 years’ experience in supply chain, planning, allocation, merchandise planning, importation, or retail operations. * Advanced Excel proficiency. * Fluent Portuguese and English (daily communication with international suppliers in English); Spanish is a plus. * Strong analytical capability and absolute accuracy with dates and numbers. * Follow-up mindset: organized persistence—never losing track of any order. * Practical orientation: understanding that a flow or allocation decision directly impacts sales or dead stock in a specific store. * Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities simultaneously, including seasonal volume peaks. **We Value** * Experience with Asian suppliers (China, India, Korea) and maritime/air importation. * Knowledge of Incoterms, landed cost structure, and customs processes (including UK post-Brexit and Swiss specifics). * Experience with retail ERP systems or allocation/replenishment platforms. * Multi-store, multi-market retail with a high SKU count. * Experience in network expansion contexts. * Familiarity with visual merchandising and planograms. **We Offer** * Base salary: €1.800 gross/month (×14) + meal allowance. * Annual performance bonus. * Training and development program. Work location: On-site
