Carry out basic support tasks essential to the functioning of departments and services, which may involve physical effort. Be responsible for equipment under one's custody and its proper use, performing maintenance and repair as necessary. Cultivate flowers, trees, or other plants and sow lawns in public parks or gardens, being responsible for all operations inherent to the normal development of cultivation, as well as its maintenance and conservation; carry out cleaning and conservation of streets and flowerbeds; where plant nurseries exist, cultivate seeds, bulbs, rootstocks, shrubs, trees, and flowers outdoors or in greenhouses for propagation, preparing, staking, and appropriately arranging nurseries; also carry out sowing, planting, transplanting, grafting, watering, protection against adverse weather conditions, and phytosanitary treatments, potentially conducting trials to develop new plant varieties; operate various tools required for gardening tasks, which may be manual or mechanical; be responsible for cleaning, tuning, and lubricating mechanical equipment; perform minor repairs and arrange for major repairs when needed; be responsible for equipment under one's custody and its proper use, performing maintenance as necessary.
