Carry out basic support tasks essential to the functioning of agencies and services, which may involve physical effort. Be responsible for equipment under one's custody and its correct usage, performing maintenance and repairs when necessary. Cultivate flowers, trees, or other plants and sow lawns in parks or public gardens, being responsible for all operations inherent to the normal development of crops and their maintenance and conservation; perform cleaning and upkeep of streets and flowerbeds; where plant nurseries exist, carry out seed, bulb, rootstock, shrub, tree, and flower cultivation outdoors or in greenhouses for propagation, preparing, staking, and appropriately arranging nurseries; likewise carry out sowing, planting, transplanting, grafting, watering, protection against adverse weather, and phytosanitary treatments, and potentially conduct trials to develop new plant varieties; operate various instruments required for gardening tasks, which may be manual or mechanical; be responsible for cleaning, tuning, and lubricating mechanical equipment; perform minor repairs, arranging for major repairs as needed; be responsible for equipment under one's custody and its correct usage, performing maintenance when necessary.
