About the Role We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, build, and maintain robust and secure mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have over 2 years of experience, proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and a strong understanding of mobile architectures (MVVM), security practices, and automated testing. iOS experience is a plus. Mandatory Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering or related field. * Over 2 years of experience as an Android/iOS Developer. * Solid experience building and maintaining mobile applications (Android/iOS). * Experience with Java and Kotlin. * Experience with Jetpack Compose. * Knowledge of MVVM and RESTful APIs. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies. * Good knowledge of Google Cloud or Firebase. * Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices. * Strong understanding of mobile application security architecture and best practices. * Proven experience with various forms of automated testing (e.g., Playwright), including unit, integration, end-to-end, and accessibility tests. * Good knowledge of software development best practices. * Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store and/or App Store. * English level B1/C1. * Resident in Portugal (mandatory). * Availability for a hybrid work model in Lisbon, Porto, and/or Braga.
