Integrate into highly challenging projects with latest technology ###### **Workplace:** **Porto (On\-Site)** ###### **Role:** * Explore, analyse, and evaluate structured and unstructured data, both internal and external to the organisation, to support the understanding and anticipation of business needs; * Execute the full data value lifecycle, including data selection, collection, quality analysis, cleansing, preparation, and the application of Data Science techniques; * Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics by implementing Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, as well as dynamic data visualisation and Data Storytelling solutions; * Apply data analysis techniques, including statistics, Text Mining, geolocation, and information extraction from Big Data environments; * Identify and select relevant data sources, providing recommendations for database management and organisation, including the design of Datamarts and Data Warehouses; * Assess data quality by ensuring its collection, modelling, validation, analysis, and integration into business information systems; * Translate business challenges into mathematical or statistical problems, evaluating different models and calculation methods within a business context. ###### **Profile:** * Higher education in Information Technology or a related field; * At least 9 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist; * Experience in analysing and exploring structured and unstructured data; * Knowledge of the data lifecycle, including data collection, quality analysis, preparation, and modelling; * Experience in applying Data Science techniques, particularly predictive and prescriptive analytics; * Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning; * Experience in data visualisation and Data Storytelling; * Knowledge of statistics, Text Mining, geolocation, and data analysis in Big Data environments; * Knowledge of data source identification and management, as well as the design of Datamarts and Data Warehouses; * Experience in data quality assessment, modelling, and validation; * Ability to integrate data into information systems; * Fluency in English; * Excellent communication skills; * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. ###### **Work with us:** * With more than 30 years of experience, Rumos has a team of professionals specialized in IT; * At Rumos, consultants integrate highly challenging projects, based on the latest technology and in the most diverse sectors of activity; * Rumos consultants have access to a certified training plan, which offers a constant update of technical skills; * Rumos, as an employer, has job opportunities based on equity, integrity and diversity.
