Our core activity is the development, manufacturing and installation of top\-quality racking systems for the storage of palletized or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures. **Location:** Ovar , Portugal **Job Description** ------------------- As a Process Engineer you will review and optimize the production processes of stow’s Ovar plant **Main responsibilities:** * Lead cost\-reduction initiatives by optimizing the use of resources * Monitor and analyze process KPIs (yield, throughput, downtime, etc.) and drive continuous improvement * Work with Production, Logistics and Maintenance teams on the shop floor to execute improvement projects * Develop and implement standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation * Provide technical training and support to Production supervisors and operators **Qualifications** ------------------ * Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant area * Previous experience in Production process engineering activities (continuous improvement is a plus) * Hands\-on approach, in strict collaboration with Production shopfloor * Proactive, autonomous player, with strong problem\-solving skills * Able to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions * Solid communication skills, able to collaborate with several stakeholders in a team environment * English fluent, both verbal and written * Resident in Ovar or nearby area
