The Eurofins National Services Center in Portugal is located in Paredes and centralizes the accounting and financial support for all national Eurofins companies. To strengthen our Finance team in response to business growth in Portugal and elevate performance to the next level, we are seeking **Junior Controller (m/f/x)** **Job Description** The NSC Finance team plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making. It is responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial information, monitoring business performance, preparing management analyses and reports, and ensuring compliance with legal and tax obligations. The team works closely with other departments, promoting a culture of rigor, transparency, and continuous improvement across Eurofins companies in Portugal. As a Junior Controller, you will support the preparation of financial and operational reports, analyze variances against budget and identify improvement opportunities, participate in monthly and annual closing processes, assist in budget and forecast preparations, and collaborate in projects aimed at optimizing processes and management control tools. Within the NSC Finance Department, the Junior Controller will play a key role in improving data analysis and reporting, profitability assessment, and cost control. In this role, your responsibilities will include: * Monitoring intra-group operational processes and their reconciliations and balances; * Preparation and updating of monthly reporting information to the multinational group; * Preparation of monthly management reports by business areas; * Development of comparative analyses against budget; * Involvement in task automation processes; * Identification of new improvement areas to optimize processes, directly contributing to building the team's continuous improvement culture. **Qualifications** We are looking for a dynamic individual capable of contributing to internal strategy and driving its execution with proactivity, strong motivation to anticipate client needs and deliver excellent analyses.
