We are seeking a **Senior .NET Developer who wishes to advance or consolidate their technical leadership experience**, **assuming the role of .NET Tech Lead**, to join one of our insurance projects in **Porto**. As a .NET Tech Lead, you will design scalable and robust solutions, establish REST API design standards—preferably using the Minimal APIs approach—ensuring consistency, performance, and security; translate functional requirements into technical specifications; mentor and guide team members; and promote best practices and knowledge sharing. **Responsibilities:** * Design and architect technical solutions based on .NET 6.0 or later and SQL Server, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability; * Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications, data models, and architectural designs; * Define REST API design standards, preferably using the Minimal APIs paradigm, ensuring consistency, performance, and security; * Establish and promote development best practices, coding standards, and cross-team technical guidelines; * Produce and maintain clear, rigorous technical and architectural documentation (diagrams, specifications, technical decisions); * Evaluate technological options and support architectural decisions, weighing trade-offs among cost, risk, and complexity; * Collaborate closely with development teams, business units, and clients to ensure alignment between design and implementation; * Identify and anticipate technical risks, proposing mitigation solutions and strategies; * Oversee implementation, ensuring adherence of developed solutions to the defined design; * Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. **Requirements:** * Solid experience in .NET 6 or later development. * Strong knowledge of SQL Server. * Experience developing REST APIs. * Knowledge of Minimal APIs. * Understanding of software architecture and design best practices. * Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to other developers. * Ability to participate in technical decision-making and define context-appropriate solutions. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Sense of responsibility and autonomy. * Willingness to assume a technical leadership role. * Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar. * Experience working in Agile environments. * Prior experience as a Tech Lead or as a technical reference within a team (a plus). **Work Arrangement:** * Hybrid (three days per week in the office). **We Offer:** * Unlimited access to Udemy; * 22 vacation days plus 3.5 days of tolerance per year; * Health insurance.
