Only isopropyl alcohol on a long cotton swab should be used! - I recommend rewinding the tape fully in both directions before playing a cassette that has not been used for some time! - Making new recordings on 30-year-old cassettes—previously recorded and exposed to environmental conditions—may result in less-than-perfect recordings.
