"Types of Self-Consumption Installation" When choosing, it is essential to identify your installation type. Two types exist: Type 1: The standard OWL Intuition-pv device is suitable only for Type 1 photovoltaic solar installations (described below). In this configuration, the PV inverter and grid power connect through a junction box (BUSBAR), located upstream of the main electrical panel. Locate the supply cable between the BUSBAR and the electrical panel. Wrap the first sensor around the cable leading to the electrical panel and insert it into the left slot of the transmitter; Locate the cable carrying generated power, running between the BUSBAR and the inverter. Wrap the second sensor around this same cable and insert it into the center slot of the transmitter; Sensors must not be overly tightened around the cables; Mount the transmitter on a wall in an area free of large metal objects; Operates on three AA batteries.
