Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Institution Description** **Senior Technician** The CTCOR – Cork Technology Centre is a Technology and Innovation Centre located in Santa Maria de Lamas. Our main activities include research and development, laboratory testing, diagnostics, standardization, consultancy, and auditing. We specialize in various areas such as the International Code of Oenological Practices (ICOP), Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001\), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001\), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (ISO 22000\), Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001; NP 4397\), and Technology and Innovation Audits. We provide quality control services, chemical analyses, sensory analyses, microbiological analyses, physico\-mechanical tests, and instrumental analyses in the fields of cork and cork products, water, wines, and auxiliary materials. We also offer technical expertise services, metrology services, visual inspection, environmental impact studies, specialized training, research and development, industrial property support, and international cooperation activities. **Job Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site position for a Laboratory Technician at the CTCOR – Cork Technology Centre in Santa Maria de Lamas. As a Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities will include: individual TCA analysis by thermal desorption in cork stoppers; quality control of cork and cork products (with emphasis on cork stoppers), water, wines, and auxiliary materials; sensory analysis; chemical analyses; microbiological analysis; physico\-mechanical testing; instrumental analysis; metrological calibration; and visual inspection of cork products. Qualifications and Other Requirements: Availability to work the schedule 6:00 – 13:30 (mandatory condition) Proficiency in computer systems (Word, Excel, TEAMS) Valid driver\'s license Vocational course in chemical analysis or theoretical and/or practical training in Chemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc. Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to operate laboratory equipment and perform laboratory techniques Attention to detail and precision Problem\-solving skills and critical thinking Laboratory Technician experience is valued Experience in the cork industry is valued Experience in mechanical interventions and maintenance is valued.
