We are looking for a Chef de Cozinha to manage the SÍTIO DA PEDRALVA RESTAURANT, someone passionate about rural hospitality, attentive to detail, and capable of leading teams with empathy and effectiveness. **REQUIREMENTS:** \- Professional or technical training in Culinary Arts or proven experience in the role \- Solid experience in professional kitchens and team management \- In-depth knowledge of Alentejo regional cuisine \- Proficiency in food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP) \- Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills \- Ability to manage stress and solve problems effectively \- Knowledge of cost control, recipe cards, and inventory management \- Good computer skills (Excel, billing/kitchen management software) **RESPONSIBILITIES:** \- Coordinate the kitchen team \- Plan and develop menus and technical sheets in coordination with the Supervisor/Manager \- Ensure dishes are prepared to high-quality standards \- Efficiently manage inventory \- Guarantee strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area \- Monitor and optimize operational costs (food, waste, personnel) \- Train and develop team members, promoting best practices and a positive work environment \- Set priorities, shifts, and daily tasks according to service volume Other details: \- Possibility of accommodation \- Opportunity for growth within a leading sustainable tourism establishment in the Algarve Employment type: Full-time Salary: €1,500.00 \- €2,000.00 per month Benefits: * Meal card/Ticket * Commercial discounts * Health insurance * Transportation allowance Experience: * kitchen: 1 year (Required)
