Define the standards and become a pioneer together with around 9000 associates worldwide. **Job Description** We are looking for a GenAI Junior Engineer to join our Research \& Development team and contribute to designing the next generation of AI\-powered developer tools and intelligent engineering assistants. In this role, you will work closely with experienced AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to create, prototype, and deploy generative AI solutions that empower software engineers in their daily work — from code generation and documentation support to automated reasoning, debugging, and knowledge retrieval. The position offers a unique opportunity to combine modern AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, agents) with classical software engineering practices, contributing to tools that enhance productivity and knowledge transfer in engineering organizations. Key Responsabilities: * Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement GenAI\-based assistants for software development workflows (e.g., coding, documentation, design reviews). * Build and maintain AI pipelines integrating language models, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval components. * Prototype and evaluate AI agents that interact with real engineering artifacts (codebases, documentation, requirements, tickets, etc.). * Support the integration of LLMs into existing development environments, such as IDE plugins, chatbots, or internal developer portals. * Assist in data preparation and curation for model training and fine\-tuning. * Contribute to testing, benchmarking, and documenting AI features. * Stay up to date with emerging GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Model Context Protocol) and participate in internal knowledge\-sharing sessions. * Collaborate with UX designers and domain experts to ensure usability and technical feasibility of AI\-assisted developer tools. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. * Experience with Python and basic understanding of LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face). * Familiarity with APIs, Git, and collaborative development tools. * Strong team skills, very good communication skills, goal\-oriented. * Motivated and creative with high analytical skills, product\-focused and customer\-centric mindset. * Interest in working in distributed teams using agile development methods. * Proficiency in English (written and spoken). **Additional Information** **What we offer you:** Challenges in an international environment \| career opportunities in one of the best companies in the world \| flexible hours \| medical services \| discounts for employees \| sports and health related activities \| canteen \| good access to public transports \| space for creativity. **Success stories don´t just happen.
