Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join a challenging project in the banking sector, focused on requirements analysis, creation of automated tests, and cross-functional collaboration. Opportunity: Junior QA Automation Engineer – Banking Client, Lisbon (Hybrid) We are looking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join a challenging project in the banking sector. What You Will Do: Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to design test cases; Create, maintain, and execute automated tests; Prepare and manage test data; Log, track, and analyze defects; Produce test progress reporting; Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, PO, BA, TL); Promote QA best practices within the team. What We Are Looking For: Experience in requirements analysis and effort estimation; Experience in test automation; Knowledge of BDD (Behavior Driven Development); Experience with Jira, Xray, and Confluence; Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.); Ability to design and maintain automated tests; Strong communication skills, teamwork spirit, and critical thinking; Self-motivated, proactive, and quality-oriented profile.⭐ Additional Preferences: Experience in preparing test data and validating via DB, APIs, or programmatic methods; Knowledge of test strategy definition; Experience in banking domain projects.
