Casa da Arquitetura, a national and international reference in architecture, seeks a dynamic and strategic professional to strengthen its team, assuming the role of Producer.
This position’s primary mission is to carry out production work for Casa da Arquitetura’s programming activities, notably exhibitions, conferences, debates, installations, specialized visits, and artistic crossovers.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Carry out production work for Casa da Arquitetura’s programming activities, notably exhibitions, conferences, debates, installations, specialized visits, artistic crossovers, the annual Open House Porto event, and others;
* Align project/activity requirements regarding technical production and content with all involved teams and stakeholders (curators, designers, artists, speakers, reviewers, translators, technical specialists, service providers, and others);
* Plan and manage production activities related to assigned projects in coordination with the Director and Department Coordinator and the production team;
* Budgeting and detailed scheduling of projects;
* Ensure monitoring of preparation, installation, and deinstallation work for projects and activities, particularly regarding technical aspects related to exhibition project production and installation;
* Ensure appropriate coordination and support for guests, artists, and curators, including assistance with travel and logistics arrangements;
* Prepare preparatory documentation for procurement of goods or services under the Public Contracts Code, notably drafting Terms of Reference for activities being produced within the Department;
* Support the development of Annual Activity Plans, Reports, and Budgets and/or documents related to CA’s funding applications or financing processes within the scope of Department activities;
* Provide general production support for CA’s activities.
**DESIRED COMPETENCIES:**
* Proficiency in computer-aided architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD)
* Strong command of English (spoken and written)
* Excellent command of Portuguese (spoken/written);
* Minimum three years’ proven experience in cultural production;
* Strong organizational, team management, planning, and detail-oriented skills;
* Critical thinking ability, problem identification, and solution proposal skills;
* Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills;
* Proactive, flexible, and versatile personality;
