These small settlements collectively showcase the region’s tourism potential through architecture, gastronomy, and traditions. For hiking enthusiasts, there are over 600 km of officially certified pedestrian trails. Mountain biking lovers will be delighted by the variety of trails with different difficulty levels, anchored at the MTB Centers. .Riverside Beach of Senhora da Piedade / "Burgo": This beach entices visitors after a winding two-kilometer mountain road. Below the castle, the riverside beach offers excellent use of the waters of Ribeira de São João for bathing.
