Operation in multinational environments with a focus on continuous improvement **Logistics Area Coordinator (m/f)** **FUNCTION MISSION** Ensure coordination, monitoring, and optimization of the company's logistics operations, promoting alignment of local processes with the Group's global logistics model, thereby guaranteeing high standards of operational efficiency, cost control, compliance, governance, and support for the business's sustainable growth. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Operational Coordination and Market Support + Oversee logistics operations across different markets, ensuring alignment with Organizational guidelines + Support markets in resolving operational difficulties and continuously improving logistics processes + Promote operational efficiency, cost control, and service quality + Monitor and report logistics performance indicators (KPIs) + Support training and development initiatives for local teams + Ensure efficient execution of local logistics operations in alignment with global guidelines * Logistics Service Provider Management + Coordinate logistics providers, freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL operators + Ensure compliance with contracts, SLAs, and defined KPIs + Participate in the ongoing evaluation of logistics suppliers’ and partners’ performance + Support implementation and monitoring of logistics agreements + Promote continuous improvement of service quality and operational efficiency * Planning and Control + Monitor logistics performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring continuous operational oversight + Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost optimization, and enhanced operational efficiency + Ensure visibility, control, and monitoring of logistics operations + Support logistics performance reporting and analysis processes * Governance, Processes, and Compliance + Ensure application of logistics policies, procedures, and standards defined by the Organization + Guarantee compliance with legal, customs, tax, and other applicable logistics compliance requirements + Support audits, internal control processes, and governance initiatives + Contribute to harmonization and continuous improvement of logistics processes * Contribution to Logistics Transformation + Support implementation and consolidation of the Organization’s global logistics model + Contribute to the evolution of the logistics function, promoting a more integrated, strategic approach focused on planning, control, and logistics partner management + Collaborate on initiatives for centralization, harmonization, and continuous improvement of logistics processes and operations **PROFESSIONAL PROFILE** * Education + Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Transport and Logistics Management, or related fields + Additional qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Trade will be valued * Experience + Minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles + Experience in multinational environments and/or with international exposure + Experience managing complex logistics operations and multiple logistics flows + Experience coordinating logistics providers, freight forwarders, and 3PL operators will be valued * Technical Competencies + Solid knowledge of end\-to\-end logistics processes (import/export, transportation, and warehousing) + Knowledge of logistics procurement and supplier management + Strong analytical orientation and focus on performance analysis and operational indicators (KPIs) + Knowledge of compliance, customs regulations, and international processes + Proficiency in digital tools and logistics/management systems will be valued * Languages + Fluency in English (mandatory) + Additional knowledge of Spanish or French will be valued **BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES** * Strategic vision and global orientation * Strong analytical ability and results orientation * Cross-functional coordination capability and ability to work in multicultural environments * Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders and international partners * Adaptability, resilience, and change management capability * Proactivity, dynamism, and continuous improvement orientation * High sense of responsibility, organization, and teamwork **Work Location**: Porto
