We're looking for an HR Generalist Trainee to join our Human Resources team in Lisboa, Portugal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to launch a career in human resources and gain hands\-on experience across all core HR functions. You will work alongside experienced HR professionals, supporting the full employee lifecycle while developing a comprehensive understanding of HR operations, compliance, and best practices within our organization. * Assist with recruitment activities, including job posting distribution, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication * Support the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation preparation, orientation coordination, and system setup * Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and attention to detail * Help coordinate employee relations activities, including benefits administration, leave management, and employee inquiries * Assist in organizing training programs and professional development initiatives * Support HR compliance activities and ensure adherence to employment regulations * Prepare HR reports and documentation as requested by senior HR staff * Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling, filing, and general office management * Participate in HR projects and special initiatives to gain exposure to various HR functions * Respond to employee questions and concerns in a professional and supportive manner * Bachelor degree Human Resources or similar * Strong organizational and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English; Portuguese language skills are a plus * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems * Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employment practices * Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality * Problem\-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks * Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups * Customer service orientation and supportive demeanor * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast\-paced environment * Preferred: Previous HR internship, HR coursework, or exposure to HR functions * Preferred: Familiarity with Portuguese labor laws and employment regulations * Preferred: Experience with HR information systems or HRIS platforms - The Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
