Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to lead and organize shipyard operations, ensuring civil construction works are executed within budget, deadlines, quality, and safety standards. Career progression We are a recruitment firm supporting one of our clients — a medium-sized engineering and civil construction company headquartered in Telheiras, Lisbon — currently undergoing solid expansion and growth of its operations. We seek qualified professionals to join our client’s permanent team directly, ensuring a transparent selection process focused on competency assessment. ***Function Objective:*** Lead and organize shipyard operations, ensuring civil construction works are executed within budget, deadlines, quality, and safety standards, while managing all human, material, and logistical resources assigned to the project. ***Main Responsibilities:*** Manage the project from operational, administrative, and technical perspectives. Plan and monitor the physical\-financial schedule of the contract. Lead in-house work teams and subcontractors, promoting productivity. Ensure strict implementation of the occupational health and safety plan. Monitor consumption, waste, and management of materials and equipment on-site. Ensure communication with supervisors, clients, and other project stakeholders. ***Requirements:*** Degree in Civil Engineering or proven experience in civil construction Solid knowledge across various civil construction domains (structures, masonry, finishes) Leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Ability to lead and manage on-site teams Strong sense of responsibility ***What We Offer:*** Direct employment contract with the client Growth: Integration into a stable company offering genuine career progression prospects Compensation Package: Competitive remuneration aligned with demonstrated experience.
