We are currently looking for a **Cyber Security Senior Engineer** to join **Thales Portugal** in our **Aerospace and Security** team! If you are passionate about cybersecurity and want to be part of a global leader driving innovation in critical systems, this is your opportunity! **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the design and integration of secure IT architectures across IT, IoT, ICS, cloud, and critical infrastructures, ensuring scalable and resilient solutions; * Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align security architectures with infrastructure and operational needs; * Analyse security requirements across IT systems, IoT, ICS, and cloud environments; * Define and deliver high\-level secure architectures, supporting design phases and assessing risks and alternatives; * Deploy and manage security technologies such as firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, VPNs, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and vulnerability management tools; * Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS); * Monitor and manage security risks with stakeholders, ensuring continuous compliance and mitigation. **What we are looking for:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Computer Science or a relevant technical field; * 3\+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on engineering and architecture in IT, OT/ICS and Cloud environments; * Security certifications from organizations such as: ISC2, ISACA, SANS or other are a plus; * Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and security frameworks such as NIST; * Knowledge of ICS\-specific frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST SP 800\-82\); * Proficiency in English; * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to address complex technical challenges.
