Discover the challenge we have for you!** **WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?** Strengthen the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team, part of IT Delivery \& Operations, contributing to building and evolving the Insurance Data Lake — the data platform supporting analytics and business decision-making in the insurance sector. * Develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines sourced from multiple insurance business domains (underwriting, claims, reinsurance, customer/policy, actuarial, accounting), ensuring robustness and scalability; * Design and implement data transformation and processing workflows using technologies such as Spark, SQL, and distributed data frameworks; * Design and implement data models and data warehousing structures enabling efficient analytics, including adoption of insurance industry models and standards (e.g., ACORD) and compliance with regulatory requirements such as IFRS 17 and Solvency II; * Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and governance, including definition of policies, validations, and monitoring; * Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their respective data services (e.g., S3, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Dagster, Airflow), ensuring performance, scalability, and cost optimization; * Collaborate closely with various stakeholders (business areas, actuarial, analytics, and reporting), participating in requirement gathering, analysis, and translation into reliable data solutions; * Identify technological risks, track trends, and promote adoption of best practices and new solutions across the data ecosystem; * Support junior team members, fostering technical growth and engineering best practices. **IF YOU HAVE…** * Academic background in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related fields; * Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Data Engineering, focused on building and maintaining data lakes and data warehouses; * Proven experience designing and implementing data solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including use of modern tools within the data ecosystem; * Solid expertise in languages such as SQL, Python, or equivalents, plus experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., MPP or cloud-based solutions); * Experience in data modeling, data architecture design, and performance optimization of pipelines and queries; * Knowledge of insurance industry data models and standards (e.g., ACORD) and sector-specific regulatory requirements (IFRS 17, Solvency II), along with understanding of insurance business processes and challenges; * Ability to identify technological trends, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions from a value and efficiency perspective; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with autonomy and teamwork; * Experience with agile methodologies and product-oriented development practices; * Excellent communication skills, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions and interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders; * Leadership mindset, proactivity, mentoring capability, and potential to assume technical leadership of the team. **THEN YOU ARE WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR!** Send us your CV. **WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US?** Collaborate with a team that cares about you and wants you to succeed — offering opportunities to grow, innovate, and surpass yourself, fostering a unique sense of belonging.
