Planning and logistical control of materials and subcontractors. I am a full-time Site Preparation Engineer seeking part-time employment. 1. Project Analysis and Coordination Thoroughly evaluates architectural and specialist projects prior to on-site commencement. The objective is to detect flaws, omissions, or incompatibilities (e.g., a pipe passing through where a beam should be) and propose solutions to prevent delays. 2. Preparation of Measurements and Quantifications Studies technical drawings to calculate exact quantities of required materials (concrete, steel, bricks, etc.). Assists in preparing comparative schedules so the procurement department can budget and order necessary items. 3. Material Planning and Control Develops schedules and defines timing for delivery of each material or subcontractor to site. Responsible for ensuring all items arrive at the construction site at the correct time, avoiding resource shortages or excessive stock accumulation. 4. Production of Detailed Drawings Creates preparatory technical drawings, detailing specific areas of the construction to guide supervisors and operational teams. Frequently uses software such as AutoCAD or BIM modeling to facilitate visualization. 5. Direct Support to the Site Manager Assists in daily site management, organizes technical processes, monitors work progress, and prepares records and "as-built drawings" (drawings documenting exactly how the construction was executed).
