Developing and optimizing internal budgeting processes We are looking for a Carpentry Estimator with solid experience in the carpentry and custom furniture sector. The role requires technical rigor in project analysis, precision in estimate preparation, and the ability to transform complex specifications into clear and competitive commercial proposals. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Estimate Preparation • Prepare comprehensive and detailed estimates covering materials, labor, subcontracting, and execution timelines. • Identify and control errors and omissions throughout the estimation process, ensuring proposal reliability. • Develop and optimize internal budgeting processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency in proposal generation. Project Analysis and Measurement • Analyze and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents for carpentry and custom furniture projects. • Conduct rigorous on-site measurements and calculate material quantities based on project documentation. • Actively collaborate with project and production teams to ensure alignment between budget proposals and execution. REQUIRED PROFILE • Proven experience in estimation within carpentry, furniture, or construction is highly valued. • Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience with AutoCAD and Vectorworks software (preferred). • Strong planning, organizational, and priority management skills. • Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities. • Dynamic and proactive profile. • Driver’s license (preferred) • Authorization to work in Portugal. • Immediate availability to join the team.
