The console had never been opened before; it was opened for preventive maintenance, cleaning, thermal paste replacement, DVD drive tray belt replacement, and installation of an unlock chip with CERBIOS BIOS. The console has its original HDD and original Dashboard installed and can run physical backups; the DVD drive is functioning perfectly. The installed chip enables installation of various dashboards, loading of digital games, and installation of higher-capacity HDDs; with CERBIOS, drives up to 16TB are supported, and the DVD drive can be removed to install a second 16TB HDD.
