Collaborate with technical and business teams for scalable solutions. **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced **Mainframe Analyst Developer** to join our growing team in Lisbon. You will primarily work with COBOL, DB2, and mainframe technologies in enterprise environments, contributing to the development, maintenance, and optimization of critical business applications. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL in both Batch and Online environments. * Design, optimize, and maintain DB2 data models, CRUD operations, and performance tuning. * Create and manage JCL procedures and job executions. * Work with TSO/ISPF and EOS tools for development and operational support. * Apply TDD/BDD practices to ensure software quality and reliability. * Support Continuous Delivery processes and deployment activities. * Provide preventive support for nightly batch processing when required. * Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. * Document technical processes, developments, and operational procedures. * Ensure compliance with internal security and quality standards. **Qualifications** * Minimum 3–4 years of hands\-on experience in Mainframe development environments. * Strong experience with DB2 (CRUD operations, data modeling, and performance tuning). * Experience in COBOL development – Batch and Online. * Knowledge of JCL. * Knowledge of TSO/ISPF and EOS. * Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies. * Understanding of Continuous Delivery practices. * Availability to support nightly batch prevention activities. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Additional Information** At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
