Executive Assistant / Operations Support (Founder)
**Executive Assistant / Operations Support (Founder)** **Location:** Parede/Estoril – in person **Working pattern:** Full\-time (4 days/week considered initially) **Salary:** €2,200 – €3,000 per month (gross / contractor), depending on experience **About the role** This role supports a founder running several **early\-stage but growing projects** in property, housing and related investments. There is no large corporate structure. Things move quickly, priorities change, and much of the work currently sits in the founder’s head. The job is to **bring order, momentum and follow\-through**. You will work **closely and in person** with the founder, helping turn ideas into action, managing day\-to\-day execution, and removing practical and organisational friction. This is not a traditional PA role. It is hands\-on, varied, and requires judgement. **What you’ll be doing** **Managing the founder’s execution** * Organising priorities and diary * Preparing for meetings * Capturing decisions and actions * Making sure follow\-ups actually happen This is an active role, not just note\-taking. **Taking ownership of practical tasks** Examples include: * setting up email accounts and access * organising documents and folders * coordinating websites and basic marketing activity * liaising with accountants and advisors (UK and Portugal) * chasing people so the founder doesn’t have to * helping organise and implement tech enabled marketing startegies If something matters but shouldn’t need founder attention, it’s likely yours. **Keeping workstreams moving** * Tracking progress across multiple projects * Spotting when things stall * Prompting decisions or next steps * Turning rough ideas into simple, workable plans You don’t need to be a specialist — just organised, curious, and proactive. **Using modern tools sensibly** * Google Docs / Sheets * ChatGPT and similar AI tools * Simple task tracking (Notion, lists, etc.) No technical background required — just comfort with modern tools. **Working in person** * Sitting with the founder part of the week * Helping in real time * Acting as a second brain This role is **not remote**. **Who this role suits** This role suits someone who: * has experience as a senior PA, EA, or operations support * enjoys bringing structure to messy situations * is calm, organised, and reliable * is confident enough to push back politely * prefers being useful over being flashy Many strong candidates will be: * experienced professionals who stepped back from full\-on careers * expats in Portugal looking for meaningful, hands\-on work * people who like being close to decisions rather than in big teams **What this role is not** * Not a junior admin role * Not a corporate EA with layers and politics * Not a remote VA * Not a household PA This is a **hands\-on execution role**, close to the founder. **How the role could grow** If the fit is right, the role may grow into a broader operations position across multiple projects and, longer term, involvement in new ventures or acquisitions. That comes later. The first job is to **make life easier and work actually happen**. **Why this role exists** The founder is good at ideas, deals and decisions. This role exists to handle **detail, organisation and follow\-through**, so those strengths are used where they add the most value. Job Type: Full\-time Pay: 2,200\.00€ \- 3,000\.00€ per month
