Our management team ensures **empathetic and present leadership**, guaranteeing superior **technological engagement** and successful delivery of our clients’ projects and products. **Project** * Join the **Electronic Equities** team, responsible for one of the most advanced **ultra-low latency algorithmic trading** platforms in the market. * The platform leverages top-tier hardware and software: direct NIC access to bypass TCP/IP, thread pinning to physical CPUs, performance optimizations pushed to the absolute limit, and extensive use of **C\+\+17/20**. * You will develop new algorithmic trading models, algorithmic trading frameworks, market data distribution components, and ultra-low latency exchange connectors. * Collaborate within a global team, working alongside colleagues across multiple geographies, in a highly technical, demanding, and innovation-focused environment. **Responsibilities** **Platform Development & Maintenance** * Develop and maintain components of the trading platform, ensuring **quality, security, and performance**. * Participate in the Agile development lifecycle: technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews. * Develop modules, components, and utilities for the eTrading platform. * Take full ownership of the end-to-end cycle: development, support, CI/CD, and bug fixing. **Global Collaboration & Support** * Coordinate work with global engineering, business, and support teams. * Collaborate with production teams for releases and component maintenance. * Contribute to continuous platform evolution, including greenfield initiatives. **Innovation & Architecture** * Participate in innovation initiatives exploring new ultra-low latency approaches. * Contribute to platform migrations, refactoring, and architectural evolution. **Requirements** **Technical Skills** * Minimum **5 years of software development experience**, including **2 years as an IT Team Lead**. * Experience with **electronic trading platforms** or high-load real-time systems. * Experience with **Agile methodologies**. * Experience in migration/refactoring projects. * Proficiency in **modern C++ (11/14/17/20)**, STL, and Boost. * Strong understanding of design principles, architecture, data structures, and algorithms. * Advanced user of **Linux** and development tools (cmake, gcc, gdb). * Valued knowledge: Unix scripts, Bash, Python; FIX protocol or other FinTech protocols. * Knowledge of **SDLC**. * **English – strong written and spoken proficiency** **Soft Skills** * Focus on goals and deliverables. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Comfort working in globally distributed teams. * Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving. * Autonomy, accountability, and results orientation. **What can you discover with us?** * Be part of a technology startup * Diverse project scopes across multiple industries * Fair and equitable compensation structure (Consultant Profile) * Training and Certification * Career Management * 30+ Partnerships * Welvaart Ambassador Program **UNLEASH THE POWER OF YOUR CAREER** Compensation: Up to €2,300.00 per month Work Location: Hybrid remote work in Lisbon
