Project with strong technical component and real-world impact CFF Group is recruiting an AI Manager / Programmer to join its team in Lavra, Matosinhos. We are looking for a candidate strongly rooted in computer science, with solid programming foundations and interest in automation, OCR, APIs, and Artificial Intelligence applied to business contexts. This role will play a central part in developing and operationalizing the company's technological solutions. Main Responsibilities: Technically support the development of platforms Validate code, architecture, and integrations with external partners Operationalize and improve OCR systems Build and optimize dashboards and automated alerts Explore and implement Artificial Intelligence and automation solutions Integrate and operate APIs of language models and other AI tools Develop small internal applications and scripts Provide technical support to other digital transformation projects Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, CSV, and XML Knowledge of SQL Interest in applied AI, OCR, and automation Strong organizational skills, initiative, and problem-solving ability Good communication skills and teamwork orientation Work Location: Lavra, Matosinhos Hybrid work arrangement available Application: If you seek a technically demanding project with room to build solutions that deliver real impact, please submit your application.
