This job posting might be for you!** Technical Maintenance (m/f) The Engineering \& Infrastructures Department is responsible for managing all company facilities in Portugal, ensuring they meet the operational needs of DHL. It negotiates agreements regarding current and future facilities, manages relationships with DHL Group Construction and Engineering teams (Sorting Systems) and with suppliers and business partners. Purchasing, Fleet, Engineering and Maintenance divisions are also integral parts of this department. The Technical Maintenance role is part of this department and its mission is to ensure proper functioning of the building, as well as sorting and automated shipment handling equipment and other operational equipment, through execution of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plans. It ensures interface with suppliers and partners providing assistance and maintenance services for faulty equipment, as well as provision of activity-related information according to DHL Service standards and current safety requirements. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on the automated sorting and shipment handling system, as well as on other operational equipment, including simple corrective maintenance required by the building. * Operate the automated sorting equipment via SCADA-type systems during Import, Export and night-time operational cycles, interacting with operational teams during any stoppages or changes. * Record malfunctions on various building equipment, including the automated sorter and handling system, and identify maintenance needs that must be referred to external suppliers. * Monitor corrective and preventive maintenance processes carried out by external suppliers. * Efficiently use the automated belt system to properly sort shipments and input data into the computer system or prepare daily operation reports (when applicable). **Profile:** * Professional technical degree in automation and robotics or industrial mechanics (preferred), minimum: completed 12th grade; * Previous experience in technical maintenance roles involving servomechanisms (preferred); * Mechanical knowledge (pulley, belt, chain and conveyor belt transmission); * Pneumatics knowledge (compression, distribution lines, maintenance and operation of 5/2 solenoid valves); * Electrical knowledge (maintenance of electrical panels, power consumption measurement, emergency stops); * Electronics/instrumentation knowledge (RS 232, RS 486, TCP/IP protocol, photocells); * Good command of English language (spoken and written); * Proficiency in OFFICE365 and ability to adapt quickly to new computer systems; * Good time management / flexibility and availability; * Goal-oriented focus; * Organizational skills; * Strong interpersonal skills and active listening; **Working Hours:** 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) on a rotating shift schedule from Sunday (after 8:00 PM) to Saturday (between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM), with daily working hours ranging between 6:30 AM and 3:00 AM.
