We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Management Engineer to join our Zollern Portugal team. As the Quality Management Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall quality assurance strategy at Zollern Portugal, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements. **Main tasks and responsibilities:** * Coordinate the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) at Zollern Portugal; * Develop and ensure the maintenance of an internal audit system for various systems and business processes at Zollern based on requirements, coordinating actions with external auditors and quality assurance technicians to ensure legal compliance; * Execute the audit plan within the scope of quality certification, managing the company's pool of internal auditors; * Deliver quality-related training and prepare corresponding documentation; * Prepare certificates 3\.1, PPAP, re\-approvals, among others; **Key qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's or postgraduate degree in Quality Engineering or related field is an advantage; * Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in quality management engineering, preferably in the automotive or metallurgical industry; * Practical experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies, ideally in an industrial environment; * Solid knowledge of industry norms and legislation such as: IATF 16949 / EN 9100; * Auditing experience and certification are valued; * Proficiency in quality tools (8D; FMEA; PPAP; MSA; CPk; SPC; etc); * Fluency in English; German language skills are highly desirable. **What we offer:** * Opportunity to actively participate in decision-making processes regarding quality management systems within our company; * Opportunities for personal and professional growth in a dynamic and demanding international work environment; * Continuous and strategic investment in training and career development at Zollern Portugal.
