Define the standards and become a pioneer together with around 9000 associates worldwide. **Job Description** **About the Role** We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to develop and maintain web applications deployed on our OpenShift infrastructure. You will work on backend services that follow modern CI/CD practices, with a strong focus on automated testing, security, and role\-based access control. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable backend systems, working close to infrastructure pipelines, and ensuring high\-quality, secure deployments in enterprise environments. **What you will do** Backend Development (Java / Spring Boot) * Design, develop, and maintain backend web applications using Java and Spring Boot. * Implement business logic, validation, and service\-layer components. * Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. API \& Security * Design and implement REST APIs for frontend and system integrations. * Implement and maintain role\-based access control (RBAC) and authorization logic. * Collaborate with security and architecture teams to enforce access policies. CI/CD \& OpenShift Deployment * Develop applications deployed on OpenShift using automated Jenkins pipelines. * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable build, test, and deployment flows. * Support container\-based deployments and environment configuration. Testing \& Quality * Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to overall test coverage. * Support automated testing strategies in CI/CD pipelines. * Nice\-to\-have: contribute to end\-to\-end testing using Playwright.
