We seek top-tier talent to join high-performance teams. **About the Position** The Connected Services team has an immediate opening for an Embedded Software Engineer. The professional will play a key role in leading the development and documentation of software solutions, ensuring superior performance, durability, reliability, quality, and maintainability for the global market. The team is responsible for applications and services related to telemetry and IoT solutions for connected machines — a strategic and rapidly expanding business area. **Key Responsibilities** * Serve as Embedded Software Engineer for connectivity modules; * Gather requirements, define product design, and ensure functionalities meet stakeholder expectations; * Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and software issue resolution; * Integrate, develop, and deploy (deploy) embedded software solutions; * Perform debugging and interpretation of vehicle bus data, network data, offboard data, and Linux processes; * Validate integration of internal and external supplier components into harvesting equipment; * Interface with electrical and mechanical design teams to define required interfaces and specifications; * Clearly and concisely communicate requirements, root causes, new strategies, and approaches to internal and external technical audiences; * Address and resolve issues objectively, fact-based, and professionally. **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields; * **6 to 8 years of experience** in embedded software development; * Experience writing embedded software in C and C\+\+; * Experience developing for Embedded Linux systems; * Experience defining software interfaces; * Knowledge of CAN communication and experience with Vector CANoe or CANalyzer; * Experience in structured development environments; * Experience with version control (GIT); * Familiarity with CAN J1939 and ISO 11783 communication protocols. **Desirable Differentiators** * Knowledge of IoT and telemetry architectures (protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or similar); * Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems); * Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to embedded/connected systems (cybersecurity by design); * Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in software engineering teams; * Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) in embedded environments; * Knowledge of static code analysis tools and automated testing for embedded software; * Experience in multicultural environments and internationally distributed teams; * Advanced/fluent English (frequent interaction with global teams). **Behavioral Profile** * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Ability to solve highly complex problems; * Collaborative mindset, with ease interfacing across multidisciplinary technical teams (electrical, mechanical, software); * Analytical, data-driven approach to resolving technical conflicts. **What We Offer** * Meal Allowance; * Transportation Allowance or Fuel Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Life Insurance; * Daycare Assistance; * Maternity and Paternity Leave; * Wellhub; * OnHappy; * Sesc; * Flexible Working Hours. **Location:** Canoas/RS Unit (with 10%–20% travel)
