Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to the type of event and service standards. Answer questions regarding menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu inquiries, wait times, re-preparation orders, and product inventory. Relay guest special requests, allergies, dietary restrictions, and additional meal requirements to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of ordering. Confirm guest satisfaction for each food course and beverage served. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, tableware, glassware, and other items throughout the day. Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate, professional invoices to guests and process payments.
Comply with all company and safety/security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete safety training and certification. Maintain a clean, professional appearance in uniform and personal grooming; safeguard confidential information; and protect company assets. Welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; and sincerely thank guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build positive workplace relationships; support the team in achieving common goals; and actively listen to and respond appropriately to concerns raised by fellow employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds (approximately 11 kg) without assistance, and move objects exceeding 50 pounds (approximately 23 kg) with assistance. Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, twist, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Navigate uneven, sloped, or slippery surfaces, and ascend/descend stairs and ramps. Reach, bend, twist, pull, and squat above and below knee level. Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.
