Location: Oeiras, Portugal Work Mode: On-site Employment Type: Full-time employment contract Your day-to-day with us: * Define and ensure best practices for development, coding standards, and code review * Support the Tech Lead in defining software architecture and making strategic technical decisions * Ensure code quality and test coverage (unit and integration tests) * Actively support junior team members, promoting their technical and professional development through practices such as pair-programming, code reviews, mentoring sessions, and regular constructive feedback, ensuring consistent adoption of development best practices. What we look for in you: * Higher education degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields * Minimum 6 years of experience developing .NET 4.8 / .NET 8+ applications * Proven experience applying design patterns such as SOLID, DDD, CQRS, among others, in .NET solution development * Experience creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and operating .NET applications in containerized environments (Docker + Kubernetes) is highly valued * Experience developing for high-performance and high-availability environments * Knowledge of secure software development practices: OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10, modern authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT), protection against injection, XSS, CSRF, among others * Experience in Azure Cloud environments (valued) * Knowledge of integrations with financial technologies (e.g., payment gateways) and/or biometric technologies (valued) * Experience integrating with hardware components using the XFS protocol is valued * Experience developing socket-based communication is valued * Proactivity, teamwork orientation, and technical team leadership skills * Portuguese language proficiency (advanced level) and English language proficiency (intermediate level) * Legal eligibility to work in Portugal (mandatory) What you can expect by joining our team: * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Continuous training and mentoring * Participation in diverse projects and exposure to different markets * Compensation tailored to your experience and demonstrated expertise * Additional benefits, discounts, partnerships, and positive vibes Why Innovation Makers Labs?
