You will be part of a SAFe/Scrum team, working with Mendix technology across a diverse application landscape, ranging from SAP back\-office systems to web portals and custom\-built solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment and contribute to projects that drive performance, innovation, and sustainable growth. **Job location:** Portugal or Spain\-based / Remote **Target start date:** Month / ASAP **Working hours:** Full\-time (40h/week) **Compensation:** 40k to 55k gross per year. **Note:** All applications **(CVs)** must be submitted in English. **Your Impact** --------------- In this role, you will: * Develop and enhance Mendix applications, delivering high\-quality solutions to real business problems * Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable Mendix solutions * Collaborate closely with IT, business stakeholders, and Product Owners to refine and deliver features * Contribute to application maintenance and continuous improvement following DevOps principles * Ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance across all developments * Support and mentor junior developers, fostering team growth and knowledge sharing **What Makes This Role Challenging** ------------------------------------ * You will work within a complex and evolving system landscape, integrating multiple technologies (SAP, web portals, custom apps) * You will balance new feature development, maintenance, and bug fixing in a dynamic backlog * You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, requiring strong communication and alignment skills * You will take ownership of the full application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and optimisation **What We’re Looking For** -------------------------- ### **Must\-haves** * Minimum **5 year**s of experience as a Mendix Developer * Proven experience extending and maintaining existing Mendix applications * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions * Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe) * Knowledge of **REST** integrations, testing, performance optimisation, and security best practices * Experience with **HTML/CSS** and **DevOps** principles * Ability to mentor junior developers and collaborate with UX/UI teams * Strong communication skills with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders * Fluency in **English** * Must be a **Portuguese or European citizen**, or hold a **valid work permit for Portugal** ### **Nice\-to\-haves** * Experience working with SAP\-integrated environments * Exposure to complex enterprise system landscapes * Experience in consulting or client\-facing roles * Knowledge of Dutch **How Our Salary Ranges Work** ------------------------------ At Keyrus, salary ranges reflect **different levels of mastery and impact within the same role** — not different job titles. * **Bottom of the range** You meet the core requirements and will need ramp\-up time and support. * **Middle of the range** You are fully autonomous from Day 1 and deliver consistently. * **Top of the range** You are a reference for the role, mentor others, and raise the bar for the team.
