Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced DevOps professional specializing in eLearning to automate, maintain, and scale digital educational platforms, web archives, and video archives, ensuring high availability and security. We are committed to delivering Technology for Knowledge. To support this mission, we aim to strengthen **our team** with a **DevOps** professional. We seek a DevOps specialist with experience in eLearning environments to work on automation, maintenance, and scalability of digital educational platforms, web and video archives. This person will be responsible for ensuring system high availability, security, and performance, collaborating with development, infrastructure, and content teams. Join us to build a diverse team where everyone's talent and ideas are valued and respected. **Responsibilities:** * Operation and monitoring of distributed systems on Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible; * Code building using Docker; * Development and maintenance of Python scripts and tools; * Support for development teams and technical support for platform operations; * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service scalability and reliability; * Management of large-scale clusters totaling 8 petabytes, 22 terabytes of RAM, and multiple on-premises geographic locations; * Design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD/GitOps pipelines and associated services; * Automation of provisioning and management of infrastructure based on Kubernetes, Ansible, and Docker; * Monitoring and optimization of cluster, database, and distributed service performance; * Ensuring infrastructure security, availability, and compliance—including backups, certificates, and access control; * Creation and maintenance of clear, up-to-date, and accessible technical documentation; * Contribution to continuous improvement of infrastructure and operational processes. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; * Experience with technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Python, and Git; * Knowledge of Linux systems and networking; * Knowledge of web application and infrastructure security. **Additional valued skills and knowledge:** * eLearning platforms, especially Open edX; * Web archiving platforms; * Databases and storage: MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, S3, ClickHouse; * Continuous integration and delivery: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins; * Monitoring and logging: Icinga, Cacti, Grafana, Sentry, Uptime Robot, Victoria Logs, Vector; * Other tools and services: Apache Superset, RichieCMS, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, pywb, Open Wayback; * Repositories and packages: Git, Docker; * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively; * Proactive problem-solving skills; * Interest in open-source technologies and continuous learning. **Benefits:** * Join a young and dynamic team in a relaxed environment that values closeness and team spirit; * Join an entity certified under NP 4552 standard, regarding the Management System for Balancing Personal, Family, and Professional Life; * 35-hour workweek with flexible working hours; * Hybrid work model; * Ongoing training for your professional development; * Access to a campus in Lisbon with free parking, welcoming atmosphere, and convenient location; * Various internal initiatives to promote interaction and camaraderie among staff; * Option to enroll in ADSE (Portuguese National Health Service); * Staff cafeteria; * Management by objectives; * Birthday as a day off. **Apply via the link:** \ You can find the original job posting at: https://www.itjobs.pt/oferta/505817/devops
