Location Lisbon Category Information Technology and Telecommunications Subcategory Programming Sector Investment Banking Working Hours Full-time Work Modality Hybrid Professional Level Technical/Specialist Department IT ### **Description** **The BiG is a national bank specializing in Savings and Investment, with a presence in Portugal, Spain, and Mozambique.** **Imagine yourself doing what you have always loved and building a career in Investment Banking… Imagine yourself at BiG!** **We are looking for a professional to join our IT team in the role of Application Support, focused on ensuring the stability, evolution, and efficiency of our internal applications.** **Responsibilities:** * Provide application support to internal teams, focusing on bug resolution and minor developments within the Microsoft Stack (.NET \| C\#); * Correct and optimize existing queries in MSSQL environments; * Collaborate with development teams in incident analysis and improvement proposals; * Ensure proper categorization and routing of tickets (incidents, development requests, data changes, etc.); * Work closely with teams such as Backoffice, Data Management, and Data Analytics to ensure effective and process-aligned responses. ### **Minimum Requirements** * 2–3 years of professional experience in similar roles; * Higher education degree in Information Technologies or a related field; * Proven experience in database, backend, and/or frontend environments (at least 2 out of the 3); * Interest in full-stack development and technical problem-solving; * Analytical, organizational, and planning skills; * Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities; * Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship abilities; * Autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of responsibility. **What We Offer:** * Integration into a solid company with a young, dynamic, and collaborative environment; * Continuous HR support during the first year; * Opportunity for career development and progression based on meritocracy; * Active participation in the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems; * A space where your ideas are heard and valued.
