Role: Senior Functional Data Architect Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal Required skills: * + Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Masters preferred) + 5\+ years in **data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management**, ideally within complex multinational organizations. + Proven experience with **enterprise data modeling**, **data platform architecture**, and **governance frameworks**. + Hands\-on expertise with **MDM, data warehouses, and data lakehouse architectures** (e.g., Medallion architecture). + Familiarity with **data cataloging and metadata tools** (Collibra, Alation, etc.). + Strong knowledge of **BPMN 2\.0**, **SQL**, and **cloud data platforms** (Azure, AWS, or GCP). + Understanding of **data quality frameworks**, **privacy and compliance standards**, and **data lifecycle management**. + Excellent communication skills able to bridge technical and business discussions across global teams. + **Preferred Skills** + Experience in **analytics and AI\-driven data environments**. + Working knowledge of **data risk management** and **access control models**. + Exposure to **semantic data modeling**, **ontology management**, or **data marketplaces**. + Certification in **data architecture** or **data governance** (e.g., DAMA, TOGAF, CDMP) is a plus.
